WHO WE SERVE

COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES

The firm currently serves as outside counsel for Muhlenberg College. In that capacity, we assist the College with a variety of legal issues, including but not limited to student discipline; zoning and land development; architect and construction arrangements; operation of the College health service; development of College policies and procedures, the student conduct and disciplinary code; requests and questions related to FERPA (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act) and the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act).

Our attorneys have also represented:

• An organization providing collaborative purchasing and other collaborative arrangements among multiple colleges and universities;
• A university arts center;
• A university concert and sports arena.

Our understanding of Colleges and Universities is enhanced by our attorneys having served on the boards of Colleges and Universities and taught at Colleges and Universities as follows:

• Max Davison's service on the Boards of Directors of Muhlenberg College and Cedar Crest College
• Mark Aurand's service on the Cedar Crest College Board of Associates
• Mark Aurand's service as an adjunct professor in the Moravian College (Bethlehem, PA) MBA Program
• Tim Stevens' service as an adjunct professor in the Penn State University (Lehigh Valley, PA) Business Law Program
